CODE P0505 - Idle malfunction

I have a new occasional code. It is P0505 - Idle system malfunction. From what I can tell it means something with the wiring to the IAC? Can anyone provide a bit more info or insight on this?

Problem solved. The P0505 code relates to the ECU not getting a proper response from the IAC motor and suggests checking the wiring as a first step. My wiring was fine, so further inspection revealed a damaged IAC servo. Replaced the servo (top black part of the IAC unit) and all is fine. Hope this can help somebody someday.
