Use a dental tool/pick etc. All you need is a straight piece of metal rod thin enough to get in the eyelets in the adjusters. You will feel the "click" as you are turning.
I tried these settings (advice from Paul Mumford posted couple years ago) and I liked the settings (for VIR). Helped me turn a 209.8 with hoosiers.
Shock Settings:
BUMP (Compression): 3 FRONT, 3 REAR.
Rebound: 2 FRONT, 4 REAR.
* The key, according to Mumford, is to lower the rebound as the shocks pack up pretty easily on a bumpy track.
