I was wondering if the air duct from vipair really adds 10-24hp. I was looking at some old threads from 03' & they were coming out with the plastic ones then & they were suppose to be cheaper (they were $150 back then in 03') But for that much extra hp $150 not to bad. just wanted to hear some thoughts on this or if there's something else compairable for that price, I have the smooth tubes & the s & b filters. Not wanting to do anything radical as I have the creampuff anyway. Thanks

im sure its closer to the 10hp number but i think it has to help. id assume the higher the speed, the more it helps with power.

This thread has all of the answers you seek:
VIPAIR™ Dyno Results on 99 RT 16 RWHP!!

Well, I think that that thread was mostly useful for the entertainment of the pilers-on, giving a sincere vendor **** for test results that really were questionable in many folks' minds. The performance gain of this product would be very hard to prove in my opinion. If it is priced right, it is worth it just because the concept has some decent engineering basis. I doubt that the improvement is noticeable by the driver; but, then again I bet that few here could tell the difference between a car with smooth tubes and a K&N and without, just by driving it on the street in both conditions 4 times, without knowing which is which set up.
