Hi Everyone:
Great to hear that some of you are showing up! Seems as though this is going to be a great get together! So far we have 8 nsx's, whole mess of 3000gt and supra's, unknown rx7 fd's, some misc. cars like bmw z8 and jags. I am having a hard time of getting ahold of the ferrari, porsche, and corvette owners. So if any of you know a better way please let me know asap!
As far as lunch goes, we are pit stopping in Decker's and woodland park before final destination Colorado Springs. I am really leaving the lunch part upto yourselves. This is a tryout gathering and if it goes well, next year will be a bit more organized. There will be allot of strange faces and I do not want to be stuck with a $500+ bill at some restaurant ;)
Redline Motorsports has been notified and they are passing the word around as well. If any other questions please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
Cya soon!

We'll be there for sure. Will try to get a hold of some other clubs (corvette, BMW, Z-car club, etc) Just to make sure they know. Let us know if we can do anything to help.

We should have the nitrous kit installed by then :)

Have other Vipers signed up? How many?

Hopefully we can get a handful of N. Colorado Vipers to go. We could meet up in Fort Collins for the drive down to Denver. PM me or email me and we will setup a meeting place and time.

Hipresr,
How will you be coming from Denver to Colorado Springs, will it be through Deckers or down I-25?
Couple of suggestions: Have you worked out logistics for the lunch stop (scoped parking situation, ability to serve 20 to 40 people at one time, etc). I recommend turning off hwy 24 as you come into the Springs and going through Garden of the Gods Park - it's worth it.
I'd also recommend not taking everyone up I-25 (congestion - and I can see the cops and fender benders now). I'd go up 83 to Franktown then cut over to 85/sante Fe.

Oh yeah,
A couple of other things I forgot to mention. There is a goodguys car show at Pikes Peak International Raceway (15 miles south of Colo Spr on I-25) with about 500 pre-'72 cars this weekend. Might be a good diversion if there's time. Also, I'd recommend an itinerary to pass out to everyone that lists the directions, stops, and approximate times at those stops in case someone gets separated from the group.
