... Chuck is doing my rotors, alignment, etc. after his B-BQ, but in the meantime, I need to mount my Pilots onto my HRE's (18') and balance, this way I can save space when I transport out to Tator's. Can someone recommend a great tire/wheel shop, so I don't end up with bent HRE's!!! Also, what should I expect to pay for this so I don't get screwed. Additionally, should I have them put the wheels on the car without an alignment, I def. want Chuck to do that ...

Thanks,

Dave. (Cromwell, CT.)

I'd be nervous to go to Town Fair. I mean, I'm sure that there are some real pros at some locations, but what if some kid ends up working on wheels and messes them up? I'd rather go to a pro shop, where I can talk to the guy doing the work, etc. Anyone else have places they've been?

Dave.

Well I have had my mustang there (and need to soon for new tires you know burn outs lol) and I told them I wanted the owner to do them himself he said "I totally understand" and he did them, no issues.

Now I know a stang is NOT a viper but I'd bring my snake there, they were pretty good.

SHADOW,
Don't know anything about CT., but I found a BMW dealer here that has the latest tire mounting machine - you know the kind that does not touch the rim, Hunter make such a machine. They also do a "road balance" and rotate the tire on the rim to minimize the imbalance, then balance. Having said all this, check your "high" end dealers; Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, ...... for a Hunter mounting machine.

This link lists Hunter Machines in CT.
