The front rotors are the stock SRT-10 rotors, the backs are the Brembro drilled rotors.

Dave's prices are very good. Quality is top notch. You can buy brackets at $795 per set. Other parts are stock SRT-10 rotors and calipers from Tators or other discount suppliers. Check out Dave's page under suppliers or click here:

Amen brother!

My stock brakes felt like Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble pushing their feet through the floorboard. Now with Dave's Big brake upgrade, I stop fast!

It's a serious saftey upgrade as well as an appearance upgrade.

Looks great Kurt. :2tu:

Have to agree with all the above.

Looking back, this should have been one of my first mods (if only the Gen 3 brakes were available in 2001).
Something to seriously bear in mind for all you guys now considering HP upgrades.

Does anyone know if Dave's Big Brake upgrade will work with Eradispeed rotors?

Re: Dave\'s Big Brakes work great!

Does Roe Racing also sell the same upgrade (but for the front brakes only) ?? or are they different:

http://www.roeracing.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=18&idproduct=240
To the best of my knowledge, the material difference is the brake pad. Sean's requires you to use his and Dave's allows you to use the stock SRT pad. I honestly don't know which one costs more or if one is any better than the other.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Dave\'s Big Brakes work great!

Can U post a pick of the back install...especially the "E" brake mounting. I understand the stock caliper mounting tabs get cut off for the front-to-rear conversion mounting brackets, but curious as to how Dave's replacement "E brake mounts.

Re: Dave\'s Big Brakes work great!

Been to the web site, looked at other installs that people have done from the "outside in" perspective...and we've talked on the phone. What I'm looking to see is the engineering behind the install; aka how the "simply bolts on" has been engineered, how the E-cable is routed/attached,etc. I know this is a "quality" product but I want to see the "form and function" vice the static shots through the wheel or on a display stand. There has been a variety of posts requesting a comparison of all similar upgrades, just want to get the pictorial of the entire rear install before smaking down $$$$.

Re: Dave\'s Big Brakes work great!

Here's a pic of my GTS with Dave's Big Brake Kit using SRT Brakes Front and Rear with EBC dimpled and slotted rotors.

Let me add that Dave has been unbelievable through this process in helping me through wheel fitment issues with these brakes. With the car lowered, the Forgeline SX3R's had real clearance issues because I had to use spacers for these wheels to clear the SRT calibers. I am having new wheels made with "SRT" clearance (greater backset) to offset the additional thickness of the rotors and spacers.

Also, thanks to Jon B. for hooking me up with a smoking deal on SRT brake parts and the EBC rotors. Jon has been and will continue to be my first call.

Re: Dave\'s Big Brakes work great!

Thanks for the PM and pics Dave!! Great shots as well from VPRGTS... THANKS. That is what I was looking for. I also can see the longer rear wheel studs that need to be installed (for the spacers that I have heard referenced) thereby requiring the removal of the rear hubs. VPRGTS..are those new rear wheel hubs??? Look new as compared to the OEMs that are on the pics prior to the install???

Yes, I did replace the hubs in the process.

I discovered they were bad after I got everything apart.
