Day 5 of Viper Ownership - Need Floormats

Hi all. I'm on day 5 of owning my new Viper and still loving every minute of it. Took a 2 hour lunch today to go to a Pep Boys 20 miles away to buy Armor All...because I....er.... really needed it. Anyway, the sneakly little people who sold me my viper did not include floor mats which I obviously need. I'm sure I can go into my local dodge dealership and order them, however, I have a feeling the sticker shock is likely to send me reeling into cardiac arrest. Anyone have any "barely used" ones lying around they want to part with or have any other suggestions. Thanks!

Believe it or not, they don't come with floor mats. You can get the dealer option mats, which are not that expensive, but they slide around.

Your other option for plush, functional mats is Maurice Liang's NorCal Viper Club mats, or even more plush yet, the Snake Oyl mats (which I here you can get for 100.00 cheaper from their supplier)

p.s. I wouldn't use armor all. I like Zaino's tire treatment.

I've got a pair of factory (Mopar) mats in cognac which I upgraded (Ulys is correct - they're cheap and worthless/dangerous since they slip under the pedals). Glad to send you the mats but I can't imagine you want the color. I upgraded to the ProFormance mats (the "tapestry" version) which are truly superb (3/4" thick and they'll match any color scheme) but they're expensive (round $360 for a full set incl. trunk), though less than Snake Oyl. My advice is to save for the "tapestry" mats (IMHO does not matter who you buy them from since they're all excellent). The mopar mats are a complete waste of $.

Another vote here for Maurice's mats. And definitely dump that Armor-All. Check out the Zaino product line at http://www.zainobros.com
