Dead Pedal Mod?

Has anyone looked into whether this is possible?

I know you could move the computer outboard and perhaps that part of the foot box, however, the side sils might be the limitation.

I'm not in a position to look into this - but I'll bet some others have...

As far to the left as my pedals are...

I just stick my foot out the window.

PartsRack tried to have these machined. I still have the 2 prototypes. The ones that work for long-legged drivers dont work for short legs...so we had an adjustable heel cup and then...... madness

You could bolt a shifter-cart heel cups to the floor.

Even thought about a folding peg, motorcycle style, that pops UP if you lift your foot.

Buy an '03: Dead pedal is ADJUSTABLE !!!

Aha, I never thought much about the Rube Goldberg style dead pedals!

They would be quite cost effective.

I guess the real problem is the exhaust kind of defines the foot box.
