Lexol for the seats, the cleaner and the conditoner. I wipe the dash down with a damp micro-fiber cloth and then follow with a spray of "Adam's Polishes In and Out Spray". That Adam's stuff works on about anything, doesn't stain, doesn't smear glass and leaves a real nice sheen to my dash.

I love this stuff for leather.

You must be registered for see images

Micro fiber with nothing on it for the dash. Gen I dashes seem to soak up anything so I leave it dry.

I am just concerned about using this stuff on the GEN 1 dash...your GEN 2 dash is much more durable....has anyone tried this on a GEN 1? I have this stuff and it is great but I didn't want to risk on the dash.....I use a tiny bit of WD-40 on the dash. BRAND new it comes...

I use meguires gold glass leather cleaner and conditioner after every ride for the seats and steering wheel etc.

Quick wipe down of the door panels and dash/console with the same microfibre cloth.

Meguires rubber conditioner for all the door seals and weather stripping etc for the whole car.

Meguires tire shine

And most of all ZAINO for the paint and nothing else, must have over 30 coats of ZAINO on the car, and I don't wash the car with water anymore.

don't need soap and water anymore, just use my car duster then I spray some gloss spray with a microfibre cloth and thats it.

the wheels however get wiped down with a damp microfibre same with the wheel wells, so that the manufacture stickers in the wheel well aren't disturbed.

I have plumbers snake tool, with a scrub brush on the end, I snake it right up to the cats and back out. It pulls off all the carbon build up in the pipes.

For the Gen I dash, windex and a microfiber towel.
Eitehr that, or paint it gloss like pattymelt. :)
I had mine painted, but used satin finish clear.

When I bought mine the previous owner had painted it satin black, but I wanted more bling. The dash is very easy to take out and it was cheap to paint.

I use Zaino's leather cleaner and their leather cream. Works well. Smells like new leather. I use a interior duster, avaiable at any Auto store for the dash & interior non leather areas. Mico towels for tight spots...detail brushes for vent areas etc. Auto carpet foam, brush & vac for carpets. For a car show I'll even brush & clean the pedals (no Zaio or Armor-All there). :D

Is Armoral a no no?

I'm also a forum member of a dodge email group (Dodge Ram Trucks, called DIRT)in which MANY complained that their dashes have cracked over time and they insist it is from using Armoral. After reading the numerous complaints against Armoral, I'd never use it.

I don't trust armoral, along with so many others..... its notorious for fading plastic consoles and dashes. Leaving a permanent white/light grey stain...i'm assuming they have improved the product over the last 15 years or so, but still why use it, there are much better products out there.

Can't go wrong with meguires, or mothers right off the shelf.

Use Zaino Z9 and Z10 for everything. I will also do the seats with Leatherique twice a year for deep conditioning and use the Zaino monthly. If you want to increase the gloss on the Z10 just add a little Z16 to it, works awesome.
