I was about to pull the trigger on a Gen 4 until I sat in one today :-( I had driven a Gen 2 years ago and don't remember headroom being such an issue. I am 6'7" and my head was tilted to even fit. I would really like to sit in someone's car that already has the kit to see how much of a difference it would make before I make an expensive regretable purchase.

Coupe or Vert because they were comperable in my stock test (with the roof up).

Anyone in the DFW area that can help me?

Thanks,
Adam

Adam,
Find someone in the local VCA if you haven't seen this already. Give them a call.

Looks like you missed a meeting today where someone might have had one to test out.

Wish I would have seen the info for that meet sooner, I was actually in that neighborhood around that time. Hopefully someone will see this and get back to me if they have a car with the kit. Otherwise I guess I'll have to wait for the next meet.

I'm still slightly depressed after my test-sit today :(

It's funny, the first time I test fit a Gen 3 Viper, my GF said it looked like I was gonna cry.:lmao:

2 inch kit later and I'm off to the races. But I'm not 6'7.

Explaining Viper things to you
I'm 6-4 and have sat in both G2 & 3. The GTS - which I have one - is a little tight on leg room but I can leave my ball cap on even entering and exiting the car. The G3 the first thing I noticed was the cap has to go. But I had more leg room. Good luck tall dude.

I'm nowhere near DFW, but I am 6' 6" with a 35" inseam, and the 2" seat lowering kit is a MUST on gen 3 and Gen 4 cars.
It will help you much!
