My '94 Viper has the TSB screws to lock down the ratcheting buttons on the throttle cables. I thought that this would mean I don't need to do the throttle sync. However, after reading through the throttle sync instructions in the "How to: Illustrated Upgrades" I realized that my car was exhibiting all the symptoms: drive line clunk, idle undershoot and surging. Honestly I thought this was just the way the Viper drives, since this is my first.
After talking to everyones favorite Viper tech (you know who), I was convinced I needed to do it...Hot D@mn it drives like a new car. It runs like a brand new car, I cannot believe the difference...Even my wife commented on how much better it ran.
