Door latches (again)

Just picked my car up Friday from having the ABS repaired, rained all day yesterday, got in it today and the inside door latch doesn't work for the second time.

Does it not latch when you close it? I had some problems with my doors and as I investigated others had a lot of problems as well. It is likely caused by broken wires in the door hinge. Our cars have wiring harnesses that were designed with no slack going through the door hinge and eventually they fail after repeated closings.
