Door Panel Issue 96GTS

My upper portion of the door panel has worn a spot on it towards the front by the dash.

Can an interior shop replace the vinyl overlay, its not bad but its noticeable

I know it can be done in leather, so vinyl seems feasible. Dunno. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I do see used ones on ebay all the time. Replacement could be an option.

It sounds like you have issues with alignment/hinges. Fix the problem before you worry about cosmetic issues or you'll have the same problem a few months from now.
