Door popper stuck.

The other day as I was getting out of my 2000 GTS and the door popper got stuck. Now I can't open the door from the outside. The black button seems to be stuck in. I tried prying it back out but I don't want to scratch it up.

Are these easy to remove? Can it be switched with the passenger side temporarily?

I just sprayed some silcone spray in mine over a year ago when it was stuck....havnt had a problem since, just spray a little bit.

My button stuck when my wiring harness went bad. It was stuck all the way in, and the door would not open from the outside or inside. I had to use the release latch to get in.
