Drag Race outcome at River City Raceway, Texas

First I would like to thank everyone who came out to this event as a part of our 2 day Houston Viper Club Meeting.
Many of you have Emailed me to post the times so here it is.
Track Temp was about 87
We had some of the Best Viper's in the world at the track yesterday.

Gary, Most of the cars were "Top End" jobs with NOS, with the exception of the 800 TT. You might try to email guys and find out what they did from our website houstonviperclub.com.

I ran a few motor passes. My best was a 10.96 @ 129.6 all motor. On nitrous I ran a 10.16

Eventhough I got only one run(clutch problems), had a great time watching everyone run. I was hoping for a nine sec run, but couldn't get the clutch to release above 5800. [email protected]. Getting the problem fixed now. Lot of fast Vipers, but I got to say the most impressive was Albert's RT/10. Never seen any Viper leave like that! Looking forward to the next time.

Man, I must say that SW's Z07 was the meanest sounding machine I have ever heard!! that thing was flat out scary.
it was the kind of sound that would strike fear at a stoplight!
P.S. I forgot to add Velocity Motorsports to that list above with a C5 10.9 Pass late in the day.

"Real men road race"..?? OK. I'm sure you believe that. But be assured that you will be in 7th place entering turn 1.
Also, Hitchcock is an auto cross track if that's the one you speak of near Galveston.

Prashant - Great weekend. Any response from Socal or Florida?

Next time we all go to the track Im sure a slow pass will be in the low 10's. I have ate lunch this week with all the big guys and last weekend was disapointing to most. Only one 9 second pass by TNT and I know Roy, and he's not done yet. Hennessey wants to get back out there and make some good passes. Also I know Mark doesn't like getting beat. As for me we have some tricks up our sleeve, so to the boys at CXI get that car running soon. We're planning another track meet soon, so dont come unprepared.

I had a great time at the track. Many people had great runs and should be proud. Steve U. had an impressive run for his first time with nitrous (on street tires) and Mark H. and TNT of course never fail to impress. Albert, what can I say but INCREDIBLE! We have all watched you work so hard to get your car where it is. Congratulations on an incredible day. Hennessey's Turbo car really improved it's trap speeds even if it wasn't the best et's that the car has run - proof that this car (still in test and tune form) is going to be a Top Gun street car! It was awesome to see all these high horsepower cars run along with the mild mod group. Now it is time to get the east coast guys involved. They have some great products brewing from what I hear.
Prashant, when can we do it again?!?!?!?
