Due date for 2003 Viper?

On the plane ride home this morning I was reading the May (I believe) issue of Road & Track. In the article they said the new Viper is due out late this year. Any truth to this or is this more editorial blasphemy (like CNN stating at the NAIAS that the new Viper was a V-8)? Also, any more details on the price of this beast?

I would figure the 2002 would be out this fall, but this article was a spread on the 2003 (has the 2003 on the cover) and said that it would be out later this year. Maybe they are confused.
