Gary Lashinsky(not one of my customers) 2001 viper stock made 415 rwhp....thats the highest stock corrected rwhp that I have seen from a completely stock creampuff or any Viper.
Byron Stewart with another 2001 with just BTR-Belanger headers and exhaust made 440 rwhp @ 476 rwtq.
Yep, right around 400 are what they seem to dyno at. I have several stock 00-01 on my web site plus about 75 others all with dyno numbers and mods. You can check it out by clicking here
I concur with the other posts. Right around 400 rwhp is the average. We have a couple dozen 2000-20001 Vipers in our dynojet database. However, the numbers are only as accurate as the dynojet calibrations, software version, inputs, etc...
Every dyno is different, and it's common to get different results when comparing dyno machines.
Consistency is the key. When you measure changes, use the same dyno and try to get similar testing conditions. Also keep in mind that the best way to use dyno numbers is as a comparison to see differences with modifications as opposed to taking the actual number outputs.
For real world examples, I saw as much as a 15rwhp (5% difference) difference between 2 diff. dyno on the same day.
