Finally have some seat time in my EBC green padded GTS. Dust is nearly nothing, incredible, what was a blackened rim after an hour is near perfect on the EBCs, nice. Went all the way around for good measure, on the dust factor I am 100% satisified. As far as stopping power, not so sure, pedal effort has changed as well as relationship to the other pedals on where they bite so may just be some getting used to on my part. I did a fluid flush, brakes included after a track event, and have purged all the air out, I shall check again to make sure it's not causing any problems.
Rear muffler delete today at a shop 30 miles out of Detroit in Michigan. Went smooth as silk, watched the entire operataion, had the final say on where the pipes sat as far as length out the back as well as centered in the fascia hole before the final tack welds, class acts all the way.
I choose a modified X more of a )( but touching in the middle which I had read sounds good and I love the sound. Running 98+ headers, Roe Ovals High Flows and no a muffler delete, sounds sweet!
Burbling on the overruns sound great, and the tunnel ride over the border back to Sarsville was something, had a smile on my face today.
As far as price I paid 250 out the door with the actual X pipe costing 75$ premade in SS at 2 1/2". People that get in under a hundred for all that work are doing great, I had 2 bodies on my car for 2 hours or so, as well as the cost of the X pipe. Pulled the sills and had them take care of some leaks I had as well with some new clamps at the cat junction, taking maybe another hour or so.
All in all very happy, sounds great, next stop to the dyno room and see what the whole shabang will gain over my 421 base pull. At the header and cat level I dropped three to 418, not good.
Stay tuned......
