I'm just trying to be a nice guy and post old ads. I'm not charging a cent, some people like to see things of the car they enjoy. This has taken me a long time to scan all of these, upload to photobucket, then post on here. I've spent half the morning emailing them to people on here that want them for there collections. Sorry if you don't like them but I guess the 20 emails about want copies of this stuff out weights you right the moment. Yes some of them I could probably combine. But most of what I still have to post is articles that are for different years. So all bunched together makes no sense.

Just a suggestion...scan all of them and stick in the "General" Viper forum in 1 post. Then again, if you're trying to catch Me, Juli and Dave in post count, you're off to a good start 
Thanks for doing it, I know from experience how time consuming posting a lot of pics can be and I don't even have to deal with the hassle of scanning them like you are!

Just a suggestion...scan all of them and stick in the "General" Viper forum in 1 post. Then again, if you're trying to catch Me, Juli and Dave in post count, you're off to a good start
I could care less about post count. I was just trying to add to the site. Sorry a few posts take away from "something" that makes people mad.
This isn't my first forum, but I have noticed over the years it's hard to become a new guy no matter what you do.
Yes I agree some of what I posted today could have been combined. But per the 20 people that have emailed me wanting pics some only want certain colors, years etc. So with me doing it this way I was helping them & myself out when they reference what pic they wanted.
Thanks guys for making me feel like all the hours I've spent on this has been wasted. I have more stuff to post but guess i might as well trash it. I was just trying to contribute to the site.
I would do something similar to what we did in the illustrated upgrade's section with the quick links to the print ads. Except I would put them all in one thread and create a master post that has links to each different ad in the thread. This way, it's combined into one manageable thread and with the quick links post (i.e. bookmarks), it'll be easier to find a particular ad. Just my .03 cents.

I'm all for whatever you guys want to do. Before I posted the first one. I checked around the site for a photo section but realize everyone posts pics in the model of there car. So figured that was the best option. I'm not a VCA member so I can't access that area your talking about & I think most can't either. Would like this accessible to all.

Why not just post the photobucket link and let people download the items they want? Seems a lot easier than emailing, oh, about 20 people all morning. Not complaining, but make life simple for God's sake.

One problem with putting them all in one post is load time for most user's. Not everyone has great Internet connections. I know with my dsl, that there are times I give up on a post because there are 20 pics in one topic and it takes forever to load them if it doesn't lock up.
Any further posts with have multiple "pics" in them to save topic space. There have been positive comments in the ones I have posted so far. Just figured it would start some new conversation, then the same old same old tire & wheels topics. Remember our cars really haven't changed much over the years, so new topic's can be nice.

i agree 100% with you. I was trying to figure out how to do that today. But you really can't download the, high res pic, can you? I can link to it and you can right click but I didn't see how you could download it. I'm hoping I just missed it. If you know how please let me know. Thanks

Would love to join the VCA (have had plans too), but times are hard now adays. It's hard to spend half my check on something I can't really use right now. But you can always sponsor me.

I thought it was very nice to spend the time you did on it. Many Viper folk are new around here and likely would have never seen some of the older ads.

I've been on a motorcycle site for years, and have meet lots of great people over the years. I've been to places i would have never been if it was for that bike. Hell i have a met every year at my place. It's still surprising that people that don't know each other except for a common motorcycle can spend a few days riding, drinking, eating & telling stories and leave with life long friends. So I guess I'm just kind of miss that kind of forum since i sold my bike for a viper.

Very cool of you to take the time to post all of these ads but it would be nice to have them all in one place.
I'll just space them out, one a day or something so people don't think I'm post whoreing. (Since i have 300 posts in 2 + years. But I figure that the RT & GTS ones should be in there forum & the SRT stuff in theres. I don't figure there are alot of people checking both if they don't own both. But hell I've been wrong before.

I don't have a problem with it. At least it is Viper related. Compared to the endless self promotion and garbage that I have seen on the site in the last few months. Endless banter between people about inside jokes.....or subjects that are just frankly weird. Every damn thread is infected these days. That is the stuff that drives people away. Ever notice where the old time guys are? Not around here.
Keep posting, it is interesting....At least you are CONTRIBUTING.....
