This is a new response to an old post, but all the better to show a point of great customer service !
I bought and installed a set of Penske shocks from EMI Racing, Erik Messley, back in 2009. I had a problem a couple weeks ago, which Erik feels was possibly and I feel probably the result of a poor alignment shop job. (another lesson I have learned and in the future I will use Proformance Industries, Mario, rather than the local guy who seemingly couldn't even fix a plumbing fixture on a bathroom trap if he had the chance, let alone properly set up Penske shocks).
Nevertheless I called Erik out of the blue when I noticed the problem. He took my call, on a weekend while he was at a track, advised me to get him the shock ASAP for a rebuild, and promptly took care of it and it is on its way back for me to install this weekend. He also pointed out to me what I have to look for on my other shocks to make sure the last alignment shop didn't screw those shocks up also. He hasn't mentioned anything to me about a bill, but I will look for it in the shipment. But still, he was more concerned with handling my problem and helping me out.
I would recommend EMI racing to anyone looking to improve the handling of their car.
