Alarm went off for no reason 2 nights ago while parked outside my office. I though someone was messing with my car. It just rained and was wet.

Had the alarm reset three times and continued to go off. Its been fine since. Anyone with such issue?

I wonder if it could be a Mercedes related problem
I experienced an old model CLK convertible having EXACTLY the same problem as you describe. Changed horns a couple times, went into the computer to find stuff out, nothing. Error went away all by itself

I'd take a look at your hood ajar switch... they can be sensitive and if they aren't set just right will trip the alarm. The rain beating on the hood and the moisture might be enough to trip it. Just a thought.

Hood switch or entire wiring to the hood.... just happened to me. Do a search here... It's REALLY fun when it goes off in your garage at 3am....... :(

It happened to me on my SRT (as well as my GTS & RT/10!).
Anyway, the dealer replaced the hood switch on the SRT, about 3 months ago, and I have not had any problems with it since. Just have them replace it under warranty as on my past Vipers they dicked around on both for months and months before they finally just replaced the part.
