I am very fortunate to be living in this adopted country of mine & from time to time I must excercise my right of free speach.
We have been selling the Viper flywheel on ebay of & on now for a couple months, we sell the Fidanza flywheel @ the cheapest prices in the country, why, Its quite simple, we belive that there is enough money selling them for $400.00 & knowing that people get a good deal than sell them for $600 + knowing that you just stiffed the American Consumer.
I received an email from a potential customer asking me if we are selling the flywheels cheap on ebay due to blemishes, I told him flat out, the reason we sell them cheap is simple, we are in the business to make a bit of money, but not to gouge people.
You Viper guys have been paying too much for your aftermarket parts for too long & it's time for a change, if I am mistaken here, please correct me!
We absolutly do not sell blemished Flywheels, we would NEVER do this & I am furious to think that another vendor would even think of making that statement, It is false........ 100%.
I am going to ask Fidanza if they know about these "blemished" flywheels, & yes, I will be informing them the name of the vendor that states that Fidanza is shipping out "blemished" flywheels.
I WILL be selling the Fidanza flywheels on ebay as long as I see fit, you guys know they are a fantastic product & I want to make sure you get the best product for your money.

Hey Kurt,
I agree with you. In the $400 to $500 range is a fair price for the flywheel and the benefits of it. The guys that are up and over $900, well, I think you covered that.
I've never heard of a blem flywheel. Either it's made right or not. Fidanza makes really nice SFI approved flywheels. Who said they were distributing blems? Let me know off line if necessary.

And product competition in the Viper market continues to expand. Bad news for those who have been gouging us (I'll remember who they are). And good news for everybody else including those with ethical business practices.

I am pretty sure I bought one from you a few months ago off of ebay, and now have it on my car. I love it, and it came in perfect condition and made one heck of a difference in the overall performance of the car. Your price was lower than my two favorite vendors here so I went with it!

CHAD.......I appreciate being one of your vendors. Thank you!
You too, Chuck. I deeply, and honestly appreciate your support.

As I recall, Chad even called me about the product, and his "valid concerns" (buyers remorse setting in?) about buying an unknown (to him) product from an unknown vendor on E-bay. I calmed him and advised that he was probably OK. Right? I advised the pros-cons. You chose your vendor. I appreciate your business.....you appreciate my advise. Limey gets the sale. Fact of life in the USA. I'll get Chad agan NEXT time!

But please consider:

Sean, Archer, Cragin, and Woodhouse and PartsRack are now helping Limey sell his flywheels by giving him this forum to speak with a 'covert' ad of sorts. Bless the VCA and the USA!

Fact is, we have also seen several folks sorely disappointed with out of balance wheels, ill-fitting tops, and other e-bay sales, only to come to me for advice as Chad did. The results were NOT as good. I'm happy to help a customer, always. And potential customers, too. We have even see unknowns scam our members on our own classifieds! Caveat Emptor, e-bay. Fact is, and I have said, you DONT KNOW if you are getting first-line merchandise. Or Blems. Or shipping-damaged returns. You DONT know if the e-bayer will support you if a wheel or flywheel is out of balance or cracked or defective.

PartsRack, Cragin, Roe, Woodhouse, Archer, etc who support all VCA activities, this site, and Viper owners almost exclusively cannot always earn your business. But we WILL support you and back our products. And if we are (VERY RARELY) 15-20% higher than some unknown entity, we are NOT gouging, and we have **** -well earned our %. [Especially if we provide 15-30 minutes of "performance consultation" so you can then simply buy on E-bay. Kind of disingenuous, but heck, its AMERICAN CAPITALISM at work...maybe I'll get your next buy, thanks!]

So, nothing against Limey. Don't know him. Dont know his company. Dont know if he is a member/owner/supporter/etc. I dont know if he is a Brit, a Luxumberger, an Italian, or funding the Taliban for that matter. Neither do you. Does'nt matter. (Does it matter?) But he has his free speech, thanks to our ad $$, and I now I have mine. And I appreciate and need your business, and a fair profit margin. THANK YOU ALL.

NEW FLYWHEEL PRICE: $395, and good solid advice a warrantee, and follow up service w/ your installer is included for only $80.
And you get some year-specific advice about clutch, flywheel, bearing/slave at the same time. Bolt-in replacement friction surfaces at cost+5% for the life of the wheel.

THANK you for your business....on behalf of all the member-owner-advertisers here who resent "limey" or anyone else perched on e-bay or in a clasified add and who is insinuating we are gouging you.

I bought my flywheel from Kurt aka White Racing Products and am happy with the product but not happy with what ended up being a
5 week wait for the part since Kurt did not stock the unit at the time..

Kurt has promised that he'll have the unit in stock but my suggestion is that you contact him and make sure the part he is charging your credit card for is actually in hand.. No other complaints..

Well said Jon. The time you spent with me on my first purchase was invaluable. You DO get what you pay for.

We use both as well and haven't seen any 'blems' from either of the companies. Hmmm....sounds like a vendor trying to justify a $900 price tag!

There are price customers and there are customers that conduct business on a relationship basis. A relationship customer should expect his/her supplier to make a profit and in return expect the supplier to be there for support and service after the sale. If you are a price customer you get the part. Don't expect much else.
