Final numbers for \'06 production???

Anyone have this info or know when it will be released?

When I was touring the CAAP with the Motor City club last month, they were in the last week of production with about 6 cars to go. They said 2006 production would be approximately 2,440 Vipers with 60% being coupes (about 1,450) and the other 1,000 being convertibles. Right from the horses mouth at CAAP on the last wk of production (this included the 100 VOI9 cars)...

Not sure where they came up with the 2,440 number, way high. I'll do some more checking but the final totals I have are:

1130 Coupe
0739 Roadster

Total: 1869 (including 79 pre-spec and pilot models)

So, if we take 1130 coupes and subtract the numbers we know:

50 VCA Red/Wht
200 First Edition Blu/Wht
100 VOI9 Wht/Blu

We're left with 780 coupes unaccounted for.

theres 29 slates for US (all color combo's), theres two yellow with silver stripe coupes and I think theres about 100 copperheads but that im not 100% sure. First two are right though

I just bought a copperhead coupe with black stripes. I was told by the dealer that there were only 50 copperhead coupes made in 2006, and most did not have stripes. The dealer owns a viper himself and is active in the local viper club, so he has high credibility. He tried to find out 100% sure, but could not locate it in writing.

I just bought a copperhead coupe with black stripes. I was told by the dealer that there were only 50 copperhead coupes made in 2006, and most did not have stripes. The dealer owns a viper himself and is active in the local viper club, so he has high credibility. He tried to find out 100% sure, but could not locate it in writing.

I hope you are right on that as I have one also. I wonder how many with black stripes and H wheels were built.

Total numbers , from what I have heard , for US consumption, are supposedly more in the 1500+ range. Of course some will go to Canada, but final numbers should be out fairly soon.

From what I understand the 52 Copperheads include Canadian production, and there are around 50 for the US. If true, then they are really rare up in the land of flowing Molson!

Sometimes the numbers are off a little, but 8 in AUGUST?
