Hi guys....Getting another Viper again finally....Been pre approved by the wife and credit union....
I had a 99 Viper and wrecked her ( mildly) sold her and got a 2003 Viper..Wrecked her ( just a lil more mildly) and sold her and got a supercharged/nos wide body nsx...The nsx has been a knightmare..I put 6K into her only to have the engine blow up...
So my blown nsx has been sittinng in the front yard for a few months while I decided what I wanted to do with her....Mean while that SRT10 I sold back in 2007 to a friend had been retrofitted with a 2008 hood and yellow paint job as well as titanium exhaust and a few other goodies and was featured in the local news paper as car of the month a few months ago...
Well I saw him on the dyno two weeks ago and was shocked at how beautiful the car was...We started talking and next thing you know a deal was made for a GREAT price just like I sold it to him for 2 years ago..
But would my wife allow me to have the nsx and Viper...Took some convicing and as soon as I put the new engine in the nsx it's for sale but she agreed that the SRT10 was awesome for the price ( plus it still has an extended warranty till 2011 in my name at the local dodge dealer..he he he)
So Ill be takeing some pics tomorrow and all the paperwork should be done next week.....
man it feels good....I miss my SRT10 so bad...You just dont realize how rare and exotic I Viper is till you dont have one anymore..Ive seen 2 Vipers in the past two years..Also you just dont realize how fast a Viper is till you dont have one anymore...When I had my 2003 Viper I was like..**..Humm...High 11's or low 12's..**..Hummm....Compared to a nsx or vette or new camaro..new charger ect..ect...ect...a 2003 srt10 is lightning fast...
Man oh man Im happy
