Finally got a car. 97 GTS-Red

[Mighty GTS]

Well, finally the search is over. My 97 GTS arrived this past Monday.
After looking at a lot of cars, I finally could nail down a deal on this one.
Its originally from Utah, but I bought it from a guy in Texas.
Two owner car with 22K miles. A couple of guys helped me with this purchase
and looked at some other cars for me that were long distance. Many thanks
to both Larry Macedo and Chuck Tator for helping me in this endeavor.
Two nicer guys you will not find.

IF anyone has any hints, tips, tricks, or any other information regarding
this car....I am all ears. It is all stock with exception on K+Ns and that
Mopar performance ECU. IT idles a bit irratic, but I am unfamiliar with
"roughness" of the idol in vipers. I know 96-97 had long duration cams, so
this may be normal.

I know you guys like the pics, but my digital camera is on the fritz......

Anyone local to Yardley, PA care to stop by and show me the ropes on these awesome machines? Beer and burgers included. Thanks, Joe.

Joe, you did good. The early Gen II's are good performers that really respond well to mods.

Congrats! '97 Red GTS was my first Viper. Strong, Very Strong car!
First thing Full Exhaust(prices are getting better too), and if you are tall get a seat lowering kit from Northwind!

Then Drive it as much as possible!!

What kind of exhaust are you running? First thing to go is that drone....

if you plan to mod this car, the first thing you will find is, you get what you pay for. the mods ARE expensive, that is just the way it goes. if you want corsa, dont settle for something else. if that means wait a little while longer, then i suggest you do it. nothing like buying something that is a few hundred bucks cheaper, that you hate....

Check and see if the recall has been done , the idle is normal.
