Flocked dash question

I've been reading pastposts on repainting dashes.. I plan to do this but was wondering what the best method of stripping the factory flocking from the dash is? Some one had mentioned sandblasting? The stuff is nasty to pull off so far!

Elbow gease. Don't try any power sanders/grinders/dremel, etc as they will leave a deep gouge. Well worth the results though!

Hobby stores sell something (I think made by Floquil?) which will dissolve paint without harming plastic. It's probably just concentrated paint thinner. It does work as
described; I used it when refinishing my dash. Have fun!
