For those who have an 06 GTS first edition on order...whats a fair price?

I can lock in " sticker price" on a first edition 06 GTS

is that good ?... or have you guys done better? ..or should I wait till
the end of the year.. or January for some to pop-up for sale?

Just wanted to get your thoughts....

I do want a B/W 06 GTS though....

This one sold for $88,200.00...below the MSRP of $91,990.00...nice discount!

CALL CHUCK TATOR AT TATOR'S DODGE!!! I have bought 3 new Vipers from him and he
NEVER charges MSRP - Always much less!

I think because most of the first 200 are spoken for..it might be a little to late for me to try to get one less than MSRP..But I'll give him a call.

I ordered one (First Edition)several months ago from a local dealer who is charging WA Viper Club members $1,000 over invoice for any new Viper. At this point I don't know what invoice is but an earlier post by DSR207 listed it at $84,144 with the First edition package. That would put me at $85,144 if my math is correct. He has a VIN on the car now.

I was happy to see that there will only be 200 First Editions and that they will come with the 5 spoke polished wheels.

Thats what I did on my 96 GTS back in 96....

I knew I was too late for 1k over Invoice now...
But somewhere in the middle would be real nice.

But Ill probably have to pay Sticker if I want one now
since there only will be 200, and I'm late in the game.

There is one on ebay now with no bids. The buy it now price is MSRP and he has no bites. Speak to them on the phone (no emails, its too easy for them to say no) tell them about the last one sold for and see if he will sell it for that. He has the VIN so its a done deal as far as delivery is concerned. He is probably getting a bit antsy if he cant get MSRP on Ebay. An offer of 88k should be hard for him to pass up at this point. I find as long as you are a serious buyer, willing to put a deposit down now on the car you have huge leverage.

call bill pemberton at wooodhouse and let us know the delivery date, meaning if
you call him i bet you buy it from him, goodluck. dont buy one till you speak
with bill, he will give you a real price for a real car and deliver it to your
door. MANY OF US HAVE PURCHASED FROM HIM AND WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Good to hear you got a VIN, often the issue is that dealers offer deals, but will never get the number of cars they sell because of DCX allocations. It may seem counter-intuative, but with Vipers, just because a dealer can take an order from a customer, does not mean they'll be able to deliver a car.

I recieved a similar letter from the dealer a mile from my house - $1k over invoice. I sure would trade my GTS for one, and would much rather have a new SRT-10 Coupe than the new Z06, but not sure if I had $90k for a car I would buy a new Viper. And until someone makes sticky tires in 19" fuggetaboutit. I'm never going backwards from sticky rear tires.
