Hello Everyone. I just wanted to find out if anyone wanted to attend this car show in Downtown Freehold, New Jersey. It is a huge car show with just about everything there. Lots of Vettes. We need to show them a thing or two. I attended the one in June and had a bunch of fun although I could not find another Viper there. I missed the one in July because I was on vacation but I hope to make up for it in August. If anyone is interested feel free to respond.

Have a good day

Keith

Is that the monthly cruise nights? (Last Thusday of each month)

The NJ VCA has looked into this before...

the big problem is that the event clearly describes parking for "Pre-1975" (or something close to that year) only. I actually parked on the street once (a few years ago) not knowing the prerequisite, and a very nice policeman explained (and pointed out the signs posted) describing my Viper as gorgeous ... but, still a no-no as there were too many cars showing up for the event, and they needed to trim it down to early cruisers.

Hum... I never heard anything about that. I saw a bunch of newer cars in the lots. Thre were a BUNCH of corvettes. They were everywhere. I will still go and see what they say. I do not think they are going to say anything if I get there early.

I went to a local Tuesday night show on Route 10 in Roxbury. They had to decide whether to let me in as they have a 1978 cut off. After talking with the organizers they let me in. They make exceptions for "exotics," or at least that is what they said.

The fact that you see a lot of newer Vettes at these shows does not mean we are welcome. A lot of them are sponsored by Vette clubs so any year Vtte can get in. That was the case at the local show I just went too. As I waited to get in I spied 2 C4's and 2 Z06. Only later did I find out it was a Vette club event.

Yes, they'll allow you to park in the parking lots... just not on the streets where the hot rods get ALL the spaces. If you get there early enough, you should be able to find a spot behind Federici's/Metropolitan Cafe area.
