It looks like from my A/F ratio and talking to Sean Roe that I might have some blockage in my fuel filter. I know were the filter is as I saw it while installing my exhaust. My question has to do with the fitting on the fuel filter. Is a special tool needed to disconnect / reconnect the filter? I have changed 6 fuel filters on 6 different cars but have never seen the connector type on the Dodge filter. So, before I try to take it off, is any special tool necessary? Thanks,

I bought one from Napa, intended to use it on the connection to remove intake, ended up not using it because I was able to unscrew at intake. I can get the part number tonight. Only about $15

Just push the fuel line onto the filter (to loosen the connection), hold the plastic clips back onto the female connector (so they don't lock again at the next step) and pull apart. Be prepared to get soaked in fuel.

Good luck,

I just did it this past weekend and wanted to give some more info to anyone doing a search on the subject.

As stated above the tool is not necessary. You first remove the one bolt holding the filter to the frame. Next you pull the plastic ring back as that will depresses small metal tabs that lock the line in place. While keeping the ring pulled back you can simply pull the filter away from the fuel line.

I'm curious if your A/F ratio came down with the change. Let us know after you do a dyno run :2tu:
