Fuel Shrader leaking ?

I took off the fuel schrader cap to bleed off the pressure so I could change the filter. It was loose and wet ? So I took the cap off and pushed the valve in and out a few times to get it to seat. Started it and let it run for about a minute. It leaks about 1 drop every 3 seconds. I put the cap back on and tightened it good by hand. Then ran it again and the cap keeps it from leaking. Do you think I should just let it be or replace the schrader ? Thanks, Chris

I'd replace the valve, its a cheap easy fix

The insert or center for the shrader valve is no problem, but the whole housing that screws into and intake manifold is not available separately from Dodge. I found one at an industrial compressed air/gas supply house. It looked different than the stock one, but had the quarter inch pipe thread.

64th Street and Greenway. I still have that quarter pipe-to-Shrader unit if you want it. I managed to repair the threads sufficiently on my original one to re-use it. I'll IM you my phone number.
