Directions:
From downtown Atlanta, take 75/85 North to 85 North to 400 North to Exit 8 toward Roswell. Take a left onto Mansell Road. Proceed 2 miles, turn right at Alpharetta Hwy. (Hwy 9). 1 block on left.

I just bought a 2000 red RT/10 on Sunday... looking forward to meeting all of you! As an aside... are any of you autocrossers? ChrisGTS and Ryan (along with myself) are planning on hitting the auto-x on Sunday... I love to have more Vipers come out!

The Auto-X will be in Atlanta (Turner Field). There are a few Z06's on race rubber that will be there, too. It might be too cold for the tires to hook up, though, so it should be interesting!

A challenge... fantastic! ChrisGTS probably has the most auto-x seat time, but only one with the Viper. He does have a lot of experience with his prior Z06, though, and he says the Viper actually is very similar (AND better). As for me, I had a lot of seat time with my Supra, but I've only driven the Viper a total of 250 miles. What better way to find out how it handles than at an auto-x, right

Who else is in? Can you make it Pete? Ryan - we'll definitely firm up plans for meeting up on Sunday during the Xmas gathering on Saturday. BTW, a bunch of my Supra buddies are showing up... remind me to let everyone know which ones to NOT run against. Some of them look stock, but are pushing over 600 rwhp.

I still like my Viper better, though

After our X mas party I have the Porsche club bash in buckhead saturday night. I'll put the hoosiers on just in case but I am not promising anything , who knows what condition my condition will be in!

I am really looking forward to seeing what you guys have GOT on Sunday. We should definitely meet up and drive over there together. I won't be able to make it to the thing at Andretti, but Achilles will fill me in.

I have never seen a Viper at one of these events. Now we are gonna have FOUR! That will create some buzz for sure.

When I first bought the Viper I brought it out & I am sure its still in some workers video library.

We will again have an autocross series for the GA VCA this year. We piggy back with the Porsche Club. they also use turner field & Ben Thatcher helps out. I used to be Pres of the PCA & they let us have our own run group & the fields are small enough, under 60 cars, that we can get 4 or 6 runs in with out blowing the whole day.

What is the schedule for the xcross....what is the latest time I can arrive at Turner field ? Is it a big course....how long is the course in seconds or minutes (corvette) ?

That sounds awesome. I would love to come to those PCA events. There was one event I went to early in 2002 where I thought they had a really unsafe course layout and someone almost had a wreck. I've been told that was not the way they normally do setup, though.
