gas cap lid question

If your GTS Viper is still covered under the corrosion warranty...does it cover a gas cap lid that is starting to pit and corrode?

It rains on most afternoons in Columbus. We haven't gotten rain here in the past 4 days or so, and it's been in high 80s, low 90s (I love it that way, being from Maryland and Myrtle Beach), knock on wood.

Hi Toby,
The Corrosion Warranty "Perforation" is outer body rust through, and the only part that is on a Viper that would be covered are the Rockers. The Gas Cap is only covered under the 3y/36,000m Basic Warranty.

My cap still looks good except I can see some areas around the hinge that is starting to look nasty.
