Gasoline vs Wax job?

Filled up today and the pump nozzle failed to shut off the pump when car was full. Just waxed a week ago with Meguire's gold. Anybody know if gasoline has a negative affect on either wax or paint? Gas ran off and paint was dry before you could sneeze. So far I've done nothing. Any recommendation?

Wash it and re-wax to be safe.

If the paint is properly protected, clean it off with water and it will be fine. Even a simple coat of wax would prevent any damage from a small spill that is cleaned up quickly. You should be fine.

At Texaco we always conducted paint panel tests - we would paint 1 foot squares with OEM factory paint and pour gasoline on them twice a day and leave them facing up... for a year. I don't remember any paint that was permanently harmed (i.e. wipe off, clean it, etc.)
