Filled up today and the pump nozzle failed to shut off the pump when car was full. Just waxed a week ago with Meguire's gold. Anybody know if gasoline has a negative affect on either wax or paint?:dunno: Gas ran off and paint was dry before you could sneeze. So far I've done nothing. Any recommendation?

If the paint is properly protected, clean it off with water and it will be fine. Even a simple coat of wax would prevent any damage from a small spill that is cleaned up quickly. You should be fine.

At Texaco we always conducted paint panel tests - we would paint 1 foot squares with OEM factory paint and pour gasoline on them twice a day and leave them facing up... for a year. I don't remember any paint that was permanently harmed (i.e. wipe off, clean it, etc.)
