Is the Vipermed pod the same as the pod in this Viper? This one is really sharp looking.

One thing to think of is that this is not a perfect fit. I ordered one for my 97 GTS and returned it because the gap is pretty big on the upper left. So make sure you understand this.
BTW Vipermed was great when I returned it. No hassles whatsover and even gave me an extra 5 bucks to cover shipping back. Just make sure you talk to him and understand how it fits so he doesn't waste his time either sending it and having them returned.

A couple of thoughts on gauge pods. I tried a Honda civic model which fit the A piller pretty well, but I am short so with the seat forward the gauge pod was too close for my eyes and without reading glasses gauges were a little fuzzy. If you have the seat back or have better eyesight-there is no problem.
Also the tilt wheel feature my be limited. For me my knuckles were only about 1/2 inch away from hitting the pod when turning the steering wheel. I felt I might scrape the pod in faster driving. If the tilt is down you will not have this problem unless you have really fat hands. Didn't check for these things with Vipermeds though. The housings look like they may have a shorter throw compared to the Honda one so these factors may not apply to his.

I'm not against the gauge pods. I tried several and none worked like they do in other cars so i am really dissapointed they wouldn't work for me.
Just some thoughts

I have a 1998 GTS I have made a 3 gauge pod to replace the pass side air bag. The 3 gauges are on an angle towards the driver. If there is enough interest I will pull a mold and offer them in Carbon. Let me know any one interested can e amil me. Also I have a kit avail for 2003 valve covers to fit gen 2 engines. We replace the PCV and make a spacer. They look reaaly trick
