I hadn't planned on saying ANYTHING...until I saw you posted this in virually EVERY Forum!

1) To much $$$.....never gonna get MINE!

2) Quit cross-posting in EVERY Forum! If you are a site sponsor...there is a LIMIT. If you are NOT a site sponsor...the limit is ZERO!

Lee will get a note. I'm all about supporting our vendors...but YOU take it to an un-stomachable level.

Also, I notice you did NOT post in the Site Sponsor's approved area for New Products. That can only mean you are either NOT a site sponsor.....or a bit think. Whichever shoe fits....

Tony.....

So you replied to all 2. yes all 2 posts in 2 pertinant forums general and Gen1/2about this " in EVERY forum"

Last time I checked I was a site sponsor and a forum sponsor ( ie. more dollars in sponsorship money than just a site sponsor )

Why are you so negative and aggressive these days Tony? You sure have changed.

By the way , what in the heck do you mean by thsi statement, it makes absolutely no sense top me at all

Why does the top of the ad say it's good for gen 1's, but the description specifically says gen 2?

BTW, as others say, too much $$$. Lower price, more sales, I think.
Just my opinion.

Agreed, looks very cool, and I want one for my GEN1, but not for $200 bucks. I would pay $100.00 I don't think it's worth much more.

Jay,
You know as well as I do that

1) Site Sponsors ARE (or used to be, at least) limited to the number of "Buy my stuff" posts OUTSIDE of the appropriate Forum.

and

2) Precedent HAS been set where the abuse of "cross-posting" and spam-like posting HAS been deemed inappropriate.

While I support ALL site sponsors, and applaud you on your attempt to temper the tone....you're wrong. Please, tell ME I am wrong about the stipulation that site sponsors are only allowed so many "selling" posts OUTSIDE the appropriate Forum....do THAT and I'll gladly shut up (that is, until I dig up one of many copies of the e-mail the site sponsors receive, in rebuttal). I will GLADLY apologize for being wrong...in the interim.

Actually.....I'll just get this out of the way NOW. In a e-mail from Jay to another "site sponsor", dated 11/15/2005, quoted in part:

....Yes, site sponsors can post two plugs per month in the
general forums for their products and post in the supplier specials forum
as often as they want. These are benefits of their paid
sponsorships.....

Gotta go....I love being right. :)

Furthermore...just to make my point as clear as a bell...another e-mail (in part) from Jay to yet ANOTHER site sponsor:

....You are limited to two promotional pasts per month in thte general forums and are free to post in the suppliers special forum as often as you like.... but we recommend not to overdo it as it irritates readers....

My point, really, revolves around that very LAST bit. Just like drinking...its all good in moderation!

And YES....I have EVERY e-mail and post dating back to 1999....FINDING them is the hard part! :)

I'm not worried about the e-mails that were sent to you. I made a point, Jay tried to back you as a "site sponsor", he is wrong, I am right. I am 99.9999999% positive that each and every site sponsor gets the same low-down.

If you did not...then let this be your notice...so ALL site sponsors are on a level playing field. There is NO DOUBT this policy has been promulgated and enforced for quite some time.

It would behoove Jay (or the next generation of Admin) to ensure this point is driven home to ALL site sponsors so each and every one is on the same page. Sadly (or...actually...HAPPILY), there are but a few so-called sponsors who abuse teir sponsorship title as you do.

As an aside.....if you take the historical actions of ALL the other site sponsors into consideration it would appear that YOU are in the minority when you think you can post ad nauseum.

I could provide a laundry list of sponsors/vendors who have NOT ****** out their goods throughout the website....but I have made my point, and made it quite succinctly.

BTW...I have hear $99.99 is a good price for your kit. NOT for me....never ever.

G'night.

After you vacuum....you can polish your shoes too.

:)

The Wife bought me some new shoes this weekend, I'll throw these ones on Ebay, but I don't think I'll post a link here, seems there is a quota on links for site sponsors ( I think ). :nana:

After seeing this advertised multiple times, I have to say that this is ranks as one of the worst functioning modifications ever done to a Viper. I'll wager that not less than 90% of owners will remove it within a week of installation.

Why have a "dead pedal" when there is no space for it next to the clutch in the first place? Now the "dead pedal" is higher off the floor than the clutch and you have about half an inch clearance between your shoe, the "dead pedal," and the brake pedal. You are just asking for trouble during spirited driving.

Totally agree. I wish it was practical, but it's not.
You'd also think that a viper owner would give a break on the viper tax to fellow owners. $25 for shipping?? That makes it $220 for a fancy paperweight.
