I suppose you have seen the GEN 3 to GEN 4 kit?
Just the 150HP head upgrade and Gen IV crate motors. Haven't found a "kit" with wiring harness, ecu, etc....
So what happened for the last 6 1/2 months, that video you posted was indicating something. It was odd to me that it was being revved right off idle. Any insight you might be good enough to share, with regards to pitfalls during the installation. No finger pointing, just learning curve issues. Thanks
Mopar's Gen III head upgrade is the Gen IV set up reconfigured with all the basic goodies to put Gen IV heads on a Gen III. It includes, intake, injectors harnesses and just about every part you need less headers and an optional cam change. A similar kit has been in the works for quite some time made to work with Gen II Vipers. I believe Arrow Racing did all the development work for it. The Gen III kit hasn't sold well because it seems too many Viper owners don't have a clue when a great deal is finally put in front of them. Anyway the kit is a bargain and has crazy potential, but like I said it hasn't sold well. It makes the likelyhood of a Gen II kit hitting the marketplace pretty low. Only time will tell.
NI-KA, what did you do in regards to mounding the power steering pump?
I'm glad to hear you had no technical snafu's. With the Gen III kit, I believe you send in your ECU, and the tune is loaded. I've got the now discontinued Striker heads which are amazing, but personally I always preferred factory kits when possible, even when they are just repackaged aftermarket parts. According to Arrow, the GenIV heads are very similar to the Striker heads, which I'm guessing, is why Jeff was forced to shut that business down. Can you say conflict of interest.......
Anyway I'd love to see a dyno sheet if your comfortable with that.
Updates? Pics showing the power steering pump mounting and temp sensor solution would be great.
To the OP, A little off topic but ,what tires were those in the video?
'Here is a little updated pic of my conversion as well, with a pic of the arrow bracket. Another month and I should have everything needed to complete.
