Gen 2 Valve cover differences?

Ok so what is the difference between the 96-99 valve covers and the 2000-2002 valve covers? The part numbers are essentially the same with the only difference being the last digit changes from a "B" to a "C"

I compared a set of '99 valve covers to those from my '00 a couple years ago. I seem to remember that the only difference I could see was the amount of sealant used on the interial baffles. The '00 had sealant around the entire baffle (where it contacts the valve cover inner walls) and the '99 only had sealant in spots.

I've seen some with an extra sneaky pete logo, but I don't know when they changed it.
