Hello All,

We are now offering pre-made Gen-3 and 4 Oil Cooler Lines, as anyone who has a Gen-3 or 4 with a few miles on it surely knows how annoying the factory lines can be as they slowly seep oil all over the place... and that's a best case scenario. We have seen more than one that decided to disconnect itself or fail catastrophically, and cost the owner an engine.

These lines are full-swivel, and use 1-piece hose ends that do not require ORB-to-JIC adapters. These fittings do not flex and break, come loose, or wear out from engine torquing. While these types of hose ends are not cheap, they are the best we have used. We try to use them exclusively on our builds, for both oil and fuel lines wherever possible. The lines are all Aeroquip Stainless Steel Braided- no off brands or knock-offs are ever used here. The braided hoses are fitted with a black nylon abrasion sleeve so that they do not damage surrounding parts and finishes. All lines are "black" with red anodized hose ends.

Simply remove the original lines and quick-connect fittings, and screw these in place, no adapters needed. Put aside any worries of leakage or failure, these lines are rated at over 1000 PSI, and a constant working temperature range of -45 to +300F without any degradation.

Great addition and like that it rids the factory qd system

We have these on cars from "extreme street" to USGT-U, and everybody loves them. The QD fittings are not exactly the most reliable.

AN/JIC style lines are the "norm" in this application and what most shops have access to, but we have seen too many cases in various applications where the lack of a dual swivel in such examples causes the conical end of the JIC fitting to work loose and start to seep, or most commonly, internal galling of the retaining ring on the JIC end makes the JIC "nut" lock up in the hose end, making removal an absolute nightmare... not to mention the hassle of getting JIC ends in the exact position you want them every time. The Dual Swivel O-Ring-Boss is by far the superior design for an automotive application, is more robust, and is easier to work with. We have gone so far as to literally eliminate JIC hose ends from all of our newer builds whenever possible. Add in the standard sheathing to prevent the stainless braid from damaging everything under the hood it comes into contact with, and its a sure winner.

I will likely order a pair of these this fall before I do my next oil change...mine aren't leaking, but I don't exactly trust them. These look very nice, and the price is about what I would expect with the swivels and assembly. Quality hoses like these are NOT cheap.

Tell me about it... these hose ends range from $40-$80 EACH depending on size and angle, and the average build has between 20 and 30 of them... not to mention the hose at 8-12 bucks a foot, and the shielding at another 1.50 or so. We basically profit the time for assembly on these things... thats it.

Let me first say these are top notch hoses and connections. Worth the investment especialy if you track the car.

We need these type of connections and hoses for the entire stupid Gen3 powersteering rack. Had a line go out on me at VIR with NARRA a couple weekends ago. Dang o ring went bad Grrr. So so tired of the Gen3 cooling system setup. It works well but all the parts seem to be crap.

yea i tried to build the power steering myself couldnt get fittings i also put this sett up on my car worx great bought fittings at jegs coats was like 180 took 5 minutes to put together way better then stock if anyone comes up with fittings for ps id be interested

JEGS does not carry these particular fittings... and my cost at wholesale is well over 180 in parts. I think anyone can also agree... it doesnt take 5-minutes to correctly cut, clean, debur, assemble, and again clean a set of lines, especially with an outer covering as well. It is possible that you are referring to installation time only, and fitting cost only, in which case you are in the ballpark, but its tough to tell what you mean.

Not trying to be argumentative, but I think your post may unintentionally give the wrong idea to any potential customers that they can just go buy these and put them together themselves in 5 minutes for half the cost... not so, not even close.

That being said, I will be looking into the power steering hose problems as well.

well mine been on for almost two years and no leaks so maybe not the exact same brand but deff. works great glad some one finally offering

Great idea on these, I just wish they came in blue. Price seems great considering I just paid around 300$ for the junk stock hoses.
