09 seems about right, I would venture to say even with 19K miles, if the ACR had no issues he left money on the table. EBay will almost always yield some of the lowest examples of vehicle prices (auction format, out of state buyers and sellers, lots of Risk)

The prices certainly haven't dropped like a rock otherwise I'd have one but the cars are selling slowly if at all. Lots of choices in other brands and lots of stuff on the horizon. I was dead set on waiting for a good deal on a GenV but I haven't ruled out a Gen4 either.

The blue center band ACR even though had 19k miles and some great $$ into mods, still had a frontal accident on its history (new hood/bumper/headlight/etc). Money may have been left on the table, but not a whole lot IMO. Maybe 5k.

Looking back at some predictions of things to come! Some accurate, some not. LOL ViperJon wins the accurate category IMHO!

Head over to the Politics section if you wanna see how accurate GallardoJon appears to be...Lucky guess on his part, me thinks!

Isn't he the one that started the Matchbox thread??

This troll has been all over the place with his 'insights" into car values.
Just a jealous little loser who on his best day can't afford a Viper.

Do not feed....

Just saw this thread, but yes, he was all over the Camaro forums when the ZL1 came out. Wow.

Gen IV Vipers (nice ones not high mileage or damage history cars, as mentioned above) are selling right where they did 1 year ago.
I would bet one year from now they will bring the same price or Higher!

That's great for those who have them. If that is the case I won't be buying one, and that's fine...

As soon as I buy one the prices will tank. It has happened to me with every Gen car 1-3. I seem to buy them right before they fall in value. It won't happen again. I'll wait until they drop or I won't buy. Guaranteed that if I bought a Gen 4 now for $60K they will be under $50K in a year for one reason or another.

Being that the gen v hasn't been a great success , I would think used prices would stay high due to lack of influx.

I haven't noticed a drop in a single dollar since over a year and a half ago when I bought mine. Everything seems to be holding even. I had thought there would be a large influx of trade ins and private sales for the Gen V, but for whatever reasons that did not happen.

Exactly what he said. Prices for Gen IV's haven't really changed in the past 1.5 years or so, unless you figure a couple thousand bucks at best to be a huge difference. All Gens are actually holding their value well now, and some like the later years Gen II GTS models with low mileage are going up in price at a good clip. If values are at all a concern to you, hang onto your cars a bit longer and I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised with where future values go.

The only reason I have mine is the guy traded it in on a All black GenV.
