From the picture above it looks like they will/did... I am glad I have my Gen II. I do not think they will ever capture the essence they did in the Gen II GTS, even if it does have 700hp.

It does appear to have a big ugly cross hair grille behind that camo. Yuck! But who knows may be totally different then it appears with camo on it. Alot of times new styling starts out bad then grows on me but I can safely say that the big cross hair grille on the charger and magnum still have not "grown on me" even after a few years. And if the Gen 5 viper has that big honking grille chances are I will be enjoying my "old" gen 4 for a looonng time. BUT the big cross hair grille does look good on the big trucks and suv's though.
Oh yeeee with little faith. I am very confident the new car does not look like that picture though the cross hair grille is close to that in the pictures. Tough crowd. In January, prepare to have you socks knocked off.

Looks like an opportunity for the aftermarket. Pull that ugly grill out and install either a Carbon Fiber or body color replacement or maybe just some trim to cover where the ugly grill attached. Just a thought.

not even CLOSE. We came closer to seeing Jimmy Hoffa iceskating than seeing that ugly thing as the Gen 5!

Let's see the Gen V is going to be a Coupe, so what is wrong with this picture...................oh, yeh, it is just another of the 101 photoshops, and like the Dalmations of the same number, it is just another dog compared to the beauty many of us saw in Salt Lake City.
I think this is just a clever ruse to get the Chebby guyzz all worked up in a lather and when the car finally is shown it will be so distinctive they and many others will drop their jaws in shock and awe.
