Gen1 - Gen2 Intake Manifold difference ???

Saw a Video on youtube from a guy who had a Gen2 Intake Manifold on his Gen1. I wonder where the difference is ? I know Gen2 has bigger throttle Bodies , and bigger Injectors.

But is there another benefit of it ??

i have an extrude honed gen2 manifold on my gen 1 , you need to drill a couple of holes for vacuum ports and in the front of the intake your vacuum ports are different . if you want to know more email me at [email protected]

I had done this with my Gen 1 as well. You also should get the Gen 2 throttle bodies and bar between them as it is much better than the two cables and synchronization.

I have Gen2 throttle bodys on my Gen1 intake. But the bar didn't fit because there sit the Alternator between the throttle bodys on a Gen 1.
