gen4 key blank & fob for a 98??

visually the gen 4 keys look pretty much the same as my gts key so would i be able to buy a gen4 blank and get it cut for my car (98 gts)? also could a gen4 key fob be programed to work for me?. . Just think the gen4 key looks much cooler than my sneaky pete

If you're referring to the "Fangs" key working for your 98, it should. The steering column for Vipers are the same as a 94-01 Dodge Ram. The key blank is a y-157. I have Fangs key for my 94 Ram, and another blank for my 2000 Gts that I plan to get cut since my key looks exactly like a factory Dodge Ram key.

I have no idea about the key fob but I'm guessing it would take too much reprogramming, but not sure.

for any one looking to do this I got a 03 & up fangs key cut and it does work but the plastic on the head of the key is alittle to wide for the ignition so you kinda gotta push it in. Im going to try and trim the plastic alittle
