General Lee as a Viper???

I am a screenwriter, and a huge movie fan, and I recently read that they are making the 'Dukes of Hazzard' into a major studio film. Now, as with all Hollywood updates, they are sure to make some changes...I do not think that the General Lee should be changed at all from a '69 Charger. However, if they did, wouldn't it be cool if the stuck with Dodge and took a Gen. 1, painted it orange, and put the flag and the 01 on the car? Well, just a thought - that's only if the change it, I personally hope they don't...

Yep, he's one of our local guys, car looks pretty wild being so...ORANGE!

They call that "Vitamin C" orange. Same color as my '70 Superbird!

The General Lee Comp Coupe is a great looking machine!

Making the Viper their hick-mobile would be as big a drop from status for the Viper as Saddam being caught in a spider hole with a scraggly beard...
