TCKTPLZ is right on the origination of Eleanor. Halicki's widow, Denise, and Shelby have been going back and forth for years in courts. The irony to this is that Shelby has sued numerous companies for "copying" the Cobra, yet he copied the Eleanor car from the Bruckheimer movie.

Shelby does "authorize" the Unique Performance cars as "real" Shelby's and they are given a "CSC" number and put in the Shelby World Registry. I have driven the 350SR and the GT500E SuperSnake. At Barrett-Jackson in West Palm this summer, a guy paid $515k for the first convertible 500E...sticker on the car was $141k. Jay Leno stopped bidding at $375K. Unique did a 500E for Paul Teutel and Orange County did a "eleanor" themed bike for Doug. They are buddies now. Watch for Unique to release a 70 charger, 69 Camaro with Foose inspired body work, sporting modern suspension and powertrains in the very near future:)

Don't hate me guys for watching a "ricer" movie but "To fast to furious" has a Hemi Cuda and some sort of 60's Camaro. Yenko maybe?

Only 1 recomendo for Gumball Rally!!!
What is wrong with you people!!!!lol
Get this movie, watch when the cars go through New York. The streets were closed for it, and you can hear the sweet sounds from the engines reverbing off the buildings.
Then fast it to when they are in L.A., and watch the Daytona (365 GTB/4) runs against the Cobra (real).
SWEET!!!!!
No camera tricks, no speeding up the film.

The director of that movie is the guy that made Rendevous, Claude Lelouch

There's a good chase scene in "The French Connection." When they made that, they were trying to top the chase scene in Bullitt that was made a couple years earlier.

"The Wraith" is a must-see for all Mopar fans. A movie has to be great when the Vette gets blown up and the Dodge prevails.

Charlie Sheen's car in that movie cracks me up. It's an alien car from another planet, yet, it still has the Chrysler hood badge on the front.

How about most of the Bond flicks out there.....I can think of a Ferrari, a Lotus, a Jag, and a TON of Aston Martins....all with explosives and car chases. Granted, we can't all go fast and blow things up, but we can pretend to a certain extent!
