Man, that's one lucky kid. :2tu:

...........When I was a youngster, I had to ride a stupid Big Wheel. ;)

It was cool until I wore a flat spot on the front wheel from skidding.
I guess that tires were a problem for me then, and now as an adult, I still having problems with tires. (but not from skidding)

:omg:
Now I've finally got to the root of the problem. I won't need any more 'help' with that.
.....It all started with the Big Wheel.

:D

Should have been 18V, I won't buy one until it is. SRT really missed the mark not making it 18V.

(sarcasm!)

Hope your grandson enjoys.

You know you can mod them, right?

LOL... The only other color is red but at least it's Gen II red so that'll make some folks happy. No test drive but ******* about it a lot and that makes up for it.. I will submit a request to DRT (Driveway and Racing Technology) to up the voltage to 18 and tell them exactly how to do it.. (after all, I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night and I own one or more Gen II, III, and/or IV's)) and as for the CF being real, I'm sure the grandson will be cracking the car up a little and when he does, I'll ask Grandson to provide analysis of CF.. (read: taste test)

Anything else?

Just curious where you buy that from? My boy is only 4 months old this week and I need to start diverting his attention away from the real thing. I should post the picture of how he sleeps with a big ear to ear grin on his face all night as he dreams of doing donuts in the 96' in the cal-du-sac.

WallyWorld has an exclusive on the 16 V version... I think it was $298 + tax and about an hour of putting it together....

Walmart requires a $100 savings bond deposit before a test drive.

Turns out, because it is a Viper SRT advised the stores NOT to do demo rides on the Viper. Store policy ... test rides on any kart Except Viper....

Wonder how many unsold Karts are going to end up on ebay just like their adult versions...

My walmart doesn't have any allocation for the new Viper. :(

..............so if I even wanna look at one in person, I will have to travel to a bigger city. (that has walmarts that serve a more affluent demographic of clientele)

:lmao:

You might try the Walmarts in Blair, NE, Tomball, TX, or Roanoke, VA. lol

I tried ordering one, but noticed that they ran out of Track Pack wheels on them. I cancelled my order.

My son is 2 1/2. He went for his first official ride in the Viper last weekend. The new 16v Gen V is definitely in his future. I was going to wait until his birthday in December, but it may be too cold to ride it outside, so I'm looking for an excuse to get it for him sooner.

Absolutely! Get him in one now. Of course you will have to realize that since it is a first year model that it will most likely be strewn with defects and need many work-overs. Or at least that is what some believe (not me). My grandson rocked it yesterday and believe it or not, it's still working fine today. Get the red one so you and your son will match.
