A memeber here ** has tried the BBK and x metal on his srt10 viper decided to give the BBK throttle body another try.

He ordered and saw the the linkage ect. was a lil differant. He also noticed that the new revised throttle body seemed to have zero issues..

I called BBK today and it's very true. All the SRT10 BBK throttle bodys have been improved with a new spring ect.

Looks like we finally have a solid awnswer when it comes to throttle bodies!

I ran the BBK Throttle body today with my ported manifold, M & H racemaster drag radials. The BBK TB is finally fixed where the idle spring and shaft are correct and the idle is proper. I continually fart around with this car so it is hard to say if it's really faster slower or what. What I have now with my setup is consistancy. A true 6 speed bracket race car. using 1st through 4th gear. My set up is as follows Front to back. SSR wheels 18" ported manifold, BBK TB, K&N filters, B&M short throw shifter, OS Giken 3.55 LSD, Corsa with stock cats, M&H Racemaster Drag Radials, Line lock. and a lot of practice. Run 11.85, 11.84, 11.86. 115 mph to 118 mph. My only broken part was an axle on the driver side. That was truely poos design by Dodge. Hollow axles don't get it.

Why would anybody EVER buy another TB from BBK, regardless if they fixed it or not.

BBK has done NOTHING to assist anyone here that purchased the 1st failed version of the Gen 3 TB.

I purchased the Gen3 TB 2 years ago and it never worked well. Always stuck at 1000-1200 rpm. BBK knew there was a design flaw on the initial gen 3 TB and continued marketing it as well.

2 years to fix a TB, continuing to market a faulty unit so long and not addressing customers who purchased their intial bad unit.

Im sorry, Thats bad Biz.... no excuses BBK.

I have to agree with you on that. BBK is now fixed. When I had mine I sent it back and they sent me another or repaired one. They didn't get that one right either the butterflies were rubbing on one venturi it was a joke but, they seemed to get it right this time. I can't say for how long but time will tell.
