What's the deal with the intake in the rear window? I have seen it on other race cars, but what does it cool? Is it for fuel, that's about the only thing I could see needing to be kept cool back there.

Might be a driver cooling kind of setup. Forced air into the seat or for a liquid cooled vest heat exchanger maybe?

LOL! There's a side of me that sees the big wings and think ricer. But then I look at all of the records that Vipers have taken with various flavors of these big wings, and it makes me love them.

It's got 680hp whereas the Le Mans Viper is around the 490hp mark iirc. I guess this is what the Le Mans Vipers are like with out the handicaps.

Assuming that this car is based on the same motor as the Gen V, this may be instructive in terms of what's left in the motor vs. Gen V: 40 crank hp and 40 crank trq. Likely this comes from headers, no CATS and ecu changes. This would also tend to demonstrate the difficulty that SRT may have in increasing the power of the street Gen V, whether ACR or otherwise without making substantial changes to the motor.

My ACR has similar HP without the software upgrade, so there is probably even more power in tap.

I doubt this is the maximum power the engine is capable of, but a decent evolution given the time and cost constraints.

Sweet Car! Probably over 1/2 mil with the options included. Man this new SRT Brand is trying to be Ferrari-ish in the prices. This sinches it, the next ACR WILL surely be over $200k. Just crazy stuff!
