Out here in southern California, we have lots of high-end sports and luxury cars, running all over the place. Most people here are used to seeing very special, limited run cars, such as F360s, F430s, Mucis, Gallardos, Bentleys, a host of AMG snooty-mobiles, a veritable plethora of Porches of all types, even a few Enzos now and then. I've seen a Veyron out here, a couple of Saleen S7s, a McClaren F1. You name it, its out here. (Where do these people get their money?

) There is also kind of an unspoken law, that onlookers not stare, not harrass, just generally be cool around fine cars and their owners.
Having said that, my GTS still gets lots of looks, thumbs up, little kids oggling, even people taking pictures while I'm driving. (and some negative jealous reactions, too) The effect is more noticable when I'm not in it, just observing from a distance. People feel more relaxed and free to check it out when the owner is out of sight. Even though the GTS is not as expensive as some exotics,
its just so damn beautiful, and simultaneously
aggressive looking. It just "hits you in the gut", when you look at it, price notwithstanding. Some high priced exotics don't embody the classic lines, or evoke so much passion and emotion as the GTS does. It always going to be a classic. Thats what I thought back in 1993, when I first saw the GTS prototype in a car mag.
