GTS or RT/10? What should I get?

I am selling the GEN1 and moving onto a GEN2...I am totally torn between an RT/10 and GTS. Obviously I have an RT/10 now, which makes me lean more towards the GTS, but will I be really sad in the summer? I don't want to make a mistake here...and no I don't have enough room in the garage for both! I would love the pro's and con's to both....

Okay the way I look at it, I like the looks of the GTS better, but I also Love tops off in the good weather...But then again I am in the Northeast....It is stressful having the car out in the sun, then 10 minutes later out of nowhere it starts to rain...

Well, except for your liking the the looks of the GTS better, the RT has both worlds (you can put the hard top on, or not).

Personal taste, that's what it all comes down to.

I prefer the GTS, I just feel like a Giant in a RT/10. But that's just me.

You've owned a RT, how about trying out a GTS, you can always trade out later. The GTS hold more value on the market right now.

Yea, the more I think on it, the more I want the GTS. Thats what I will do. I was pretty sold on the Steel Grey, but I just saw a Black w/ Silver stripes that look rediculous....mabye I will buy that one...

Buy a Gen III rag top. It is very east to go ******* or top up.

HAHAHA...If I wanted a GEN 3 I would buy one, Perfomance cannot be topped with a GEN 3, but I don't like the styling.

James, check out this '99 ACR at Naples Motor Sports. I saw this car when I was in FL last week. It is absolutely mint. I purchased my RT/10 from them back in March and I was tempted to trade it in for this ACR but I walked away from it. Has a 550 package from Fitzgerald Motors Sports. Modified and ready to go. THANKS! Yea the next set of mods will be 1.7 Rockers and VEC2, Maybe headers, i just need to figure out a way to baffle the exhaust, will consult Mr. Tator.....

Good decision! As far as the original question, let me just put it like this: in a couple of weeks, max, I'm going to have to put the hard top on the RT. That's always a really sad day for me. You just feel so cooped up (pun intended!).

Go with an RT/10. With a 3 piece top from Jeff Lemke, you have almost have the look of a GTS and you can still take the top off.
